Andrew J Russell III – Chief Legal Officer

Our legal team is led by Andrew J Russell III, who brings a wealth of contract and business law as well as years of litigation experience to Digital Capital. Andrew received his B.A. from Hendrix College (1987), and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law (1994). He had the honour of serving for two years as law clerk for Justice Tom Glaze at the Arkansas Supreme Court before entering private legal practice in 1996 at the Little Rock firm of James R. Wallace & Associates.

In 2001, Andrew opened his solo practice in Little Rock, Arkansas, and later became a managing partner at Wallace, Martin, Duke & Russell PLLC in 2011. Andrew is past General Counsel for the Republican Party of Arkansas, where he also served on the Executive Committee, Executive Steering Committee and Rules Committee from 1998-2004. He was Chief Legal Counsel for the Republican National Committee in Arkansas for the Bush/Cheney Victory Campaign. In addition to his legal practice, Andrew has formerly utilized his series 7 and series 66 licenses (inactive) as an Investment Advisor Representative and owner of a wealth management company affiliated with a Houston based broker. Andrew has contributed as outside counsel to Digital Capital since 2012.

Andrew’s experience in the practice of law, investments, and business ownership provides the basis for a skillset valuable to Digital Capital and its partners. Andrew possesses an excellent ability to ask the right the questions, identify the issues in a matter, both present and potential, understand the different angles and perspectives of others involved, draw reasoned, logical, and well supported conclusions, then communicate effectively.

Jonathan Bunney – Director of Marketing

A leader in the marketing community of the digital entertainment industry, Jonathan heads Digital Capital’s department of global marketing strategy for its portfolio of products. His career started in the music industry as one of the earliest marketeers to harness the power of the internet, which evolved into a twelve year career at Electronic Arts where he held positions as Vice-President of Product Development and Vice-President of Product Marketing. During this time Jonathan was responsible for marketing a billion dollar annual portfolio of games across Europe as well as the global marketing campaigns for some of the world's largest and well known game franchises including FIFA, Battlefield and Harry Potter.

Jonathan’s ability to launch and manage multiple global hits, combined with a strong understanding of development, ensures that our partners are able to bring their products to market in the most efficient and effective ways possible. That expertise affords us the ability to greatly minimise risk for our investors while at the same time, increases the opportunities for an improved return on investment. With a career spanning over two decades across both the music and games industries, Jonathan's passion to break new ground and influence the entertainment and technology industry remains unwavering.
