The co-brainchild and founder of Dream Weddings Limited, Chris was originally trained as a theatrical lighting designer where he worked on Broadway. His gaming career began in 1981, where he assisted in designing Universe. His first solo design was the 2nd edition of DragonQuest. Working for Victory Games, Chris designed a half-dozen more titles.
He has also designed games for TSR, Hasbro Interactive, 3W, THQ, Simon and Schuster Interactive, Target Games, h2o Interactive, Gizmo Games, Westwood Studios, EA, GT Interactive and Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. Some of his computer game design credits include Star Trek DS9, Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, Diamond Dreams Baseball and Stargate Worlds. He is a specialist in trans-media storytelling and MMO development.
Chris spent a number of years as a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. He has additionally taught Interactive Storytelling at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh as well as the Art Institute in Phoenix. In addition to founding Digital Power Entertainment, Jason is the CEO of Powerhead Games and has developed games ranging from the critically acclaimed ‘Glow Artisan’ and ‘ASYNC Corp.’ to several best-selling Nintendo DS games, including Catz, CSI: Dark Motives, and Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers. Previously, he was the Senior Producer at GT Interactive Software, where he was responsible for the launch of the Unreal franchise, evaluating new products and developers, and managing the New York product development department.
